He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Oliver Flake, Sr. and Margaret Rodio Flake; his wife Martha "Ann" Flake; and his children, Louis Oliver Flake, III and Donna Marie Flake.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deb Dove (Rick) of McGaheysville, Karen Simpkins (Cliff) of Cedarville, N. J. and Kimberly Soyer of Cedarville, N. J.; and his sister Margaret McCann (Tom). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and one great grandson.
