She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian W. Harman Sr. and Genevieve Stirling Harman; her husband James Archer Saunders Jr.; and her siblings, Dana Harman Stinson and Buff Harman.
She is survived by: her children, James A. Saunders III (Beverly) of Maidens, Harman Saunders (Beth) of Clarksville, Dale Saunders White (Phil) of Manakin-Sabot and Samuel P. G. Saunders (Harriette) of Deltaville; her grandchildren, Ashley Hagler (Zachery), Carter Saunders (Jonathan), Anne-Latane Saunders, Sarah Stirling Wiltshire (Cody), Archer Saunders IV and Catesby Saunders; her great grandchildren, Stephen James Dehner, Jackson Hagler, Weston Hagler and Harper Grace Alley; and her sister Anne Stirling Harman.
