He was predeceased by: his parents, Barton Schuyler Garratt Edsall II and Rita Edsall (Stroh); and his brother Dana. He is survived by: his wife Louise (Counce); his sons, Connor William (Danae), Ryan Patrick and Sean Michael; his daughter-in-law Rachel Pack; his former wife Barbara Gail Malley (Robinson); his sons, Barton Schuyler Garratt Edsall IV (Michelle), Scott Andrew Robinson (Margaret) and Colin Stewart Douglas (Sarah); and his siblings, Noel Edsall (Dorothea), Deirdre Greelish and Dolores Burke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America or Tunnels to Towers Foundation in his name.
