It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Elizabeth Desarmeaux of Locust Grove, Virginia, born in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, who passed away on November 26, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Sutton and Katharyn Sutton; and her siblings, Gladys, James, Mollie and Norajean.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra and Dianne; her son-in-law Warren Towne; her grandchildren, Michael Towne and Danielle Towne Oaks (Nate); her great grandchild Zoe; her brother Robert Sutton; and her husband Leon James Desarmeaux (Desi).
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, a private funeral service will be held for Helen at Lake of the Woods Church, Locust Grove.
