He was predeceased by: his former wife Fay; his parents, Acie and Lena; and his brothers, Carlton, Odell and Roger.
He is survived by: his daughter Tracy Dodson (Jay); his grandchildren, Allyson McCormick (Joel) and Jaimie Dodson; his nieces, Patricia McGhee, Barbara Sizemore and Susan Pleasants; his great-nephew Michael; his great-niece Jennifer; and his friend Chuck Dennis. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
