It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Joann Ellis of Leesburg, Virginia, born in Utica, New York, who passed away on June 8, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Ellsworth (Meier) and Joseph Catlin; and her brother Joseph Crosby Catlin. She is survived by: her husband Rod Ellis; her sons, Michael Ellis of Leesburg, VA and Chad Ellis (Angela) of Leesburg, VA; her grandsons, Nathan, Benjamin and Daniel Ellis; and her siblings, Bonnie Lee Shadduck of Boiling Springs, SC, Martin Frederick Catlin of Cross Plains, TX, Lynette Frances Doremus of Niangua, MO and Richard Eugene Catlin of Leonardsville, NY.. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
