It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nellie Ann Tolbert of La Crosse, Virginia, who passed away on June 4, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughter Shirley T. Gittman of Baskerville; her siblings, Maude Brooks of South Hill, Mae Jones of Brodnax, Julia Braddy of South Hill, Mary Lou Arrington of South Hill, Sue Moore of Lawrenceville, Susie Tolbert of La Crosse, Robert Tolbert of La Crosse and Junior Tolbert of South Hill; and her grandchildren, Kelly Medlin, Ashley Gittman and Justin Gittman. She is also survived by her seven great grandchildren and her many nieces, nephews and friends.
