It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nannie Lee Butcher of La Crosse, Virginia, who passed away on November 27, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Thomas and Geneva "Jennie" Thomas; her husband John Henry; her children, Henry Lee, John T., William Henry, Reuben and Annie Bell; her grandsons, Kenneth and Michael; and her siblings, Lawrence, Miles, Raymond, John, Ruth, Lucille, Vastie, Anna Laura, Bea and Ethel.
She is survived by: her children, Issac, Jennie, Rebecca, Maryann and Minnie; her children-in-law, Kenneth, Freddie, Sam, Juanita and Virginia; and her sister-in-law Eleanor. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
All attendees are required to wear face coverings and practice social distancing while attending both the viewing and service.
