She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert Carlton Vaughan, Jr.; and her son Herbert Vaughan. She is survived by: her children, Mary V. Smiley (Jimmy) of South Hill, Douglas W. Vaughan (Sue), Betsy V. Cassada (C. W.) of La Crosse, Jimmy Vaughan (Cheryl) of La Crosse, Thelma Baird (Billy) of La Crosse and Doris Weston (Jerry) of South Hill; and her sister Frances Seward of Jarret. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
