He is survived by: his wife Elsie Rose (Clary); his sister Mary Lucy Vick of Elizabethtown, KY; his children, John Chambliss (Judy) of Roanoke, Perry Chambliss (Judy) of Cumberland, Debra Daniels (George) of Midlothian and Linda Sue Chambliss of Aylett, VA; his grandchildren, Michelle Allen (Chris), John M "Trey" Chambliss III (Melissa), Mark Chambliss (Angelina), Rick Chambliss (Stella), Cameron Chambliss, Jeffrey Daniels (Kelly) and Carrie Mick (Thomas); and his great grandchildren, Abby Allen, Emily Allen, Noah Chambliss, Savannah Chambliss, Bryce Chambliss, Hannah Lenz-Phillips, Savannah Skeens, Mason Chambliss, Emmitt Chambliss, Carson Daniels, Coleman Daniels and Colin Daniels.
