He was predeceased by: his sons, Frank Hall, Jr. and Charles A. Hall; and his siblings, J. E. Hall, Jr., James Randolph Hall, Francis Conkle, Daisy Swink and Louise Cliborne.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patti H. Allgood (Sam) of Newport News and Gloria H. Moody; his husband James Earl of Cartersville, GA; his son John M. "Monkey" Hall of La Crosse; his sister Betty Cliborne of La Crosse; and his daughters-in-law, Judy M. Hall of La Crosse and Janet Thompson of Thomasville, NC.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, many loving great-grandchildren.
