He was predeceased by: his father Robert B. Harris; and his siblings, Lafayette, Eldridge, Alfred, Robert and Calvin.
He is survived by: his wife Bessie Evans; his children, Weldon Harris (Laura) of Durham, NC, Arlene Harris (Mike) of Louisburg, NC and Carmen Walker (Darry) of South Hill, VA; his grandchildren, Nichelle (David), Walter (Tiara), Kyna (Ibn), De'Ja (Domonic), Destiny, Desjuanee and Darry Jr.; his great grandchildren, Niche', WaJai, Daylan, Joidan, Davelle, Musa, Gunner, Kaidence, Zaine, Sage and Syon; his siblings, Mildred House of Boydton, VA, Elzena Lynch Richmond (Wayne) and Marcelles Harris (Masoko); his children, Debra Baskerville, Regina Riddick, Shelly Jones and James Craddock; and his friends, Minister Melvin Rainey, Dorothy, George, Delma Johnson, Gladys Crossin and Thomas Kersey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
