He is survived by: his children, Clara Mackey of Suffolk, VA and Clarence King Bey II of Richmond, VA; and his stepson William Simmons of La Crosse, VA. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
