It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Leroy Baylor of King William, Virginia, who passed away on May 28, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Deacon Lou Melvin and Deaconess Edith T. Baylor; and his siblings, Jerome, Lou Melvin, Jr., Ceasar McKinley Baylor, Cecilia Messiah and Loretta Roane.
He is survived by: his wife Bessie Wills Baylor; his daughter Kathy B. Lacy (Roger); his grandson Stephon Lacy; his sisters, Lillian Thornton (Wesley), Julia B. Jones (Robert) and Teresa LaVerne Vaughn; his sisters-in-law, Geraldine, Clementine Wills, Jean Wright, Gloria Holmes and Marion Baylor; his aunt Addie S. Terrell; and his niece Vanessa Wills (Nessa Boo). He is also survived by nephews, cousins, and friends.
