It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Simon Hill (King William, Virginia), who passed away on February 17, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robbie Hill and Helen Hill; his sister Nora Hill Temple; and his nephew Robert Jordan Temple. He is survived by: his wife Etta Bennett Short Hill; his sons, Lawrence Earl Hill and Howard Christopher Hill; his grandchildren, Meredith Jane Hill, Andrew Peyton Hill and Casey Lee Hill; his sister Nora Roberts Cardwell; and his friend Richard T. Brown. He is also survived by two nieces; many cousins.
