He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dandridge and Dorothy Wood Dandridge; the mother of his children Mary Dandridge; his son Alexander Dandridge Jr.; and his siblings, Arthur Dandridge Sr., Lawrence Dandridge, Dorothy McPhearson of King William and Ethel Moore of King William.
He is survived by: his children, Therman Hill (Otis) of King William, Carl Dandridge Sr. of King William, Alvis Dandridge (Rita) of King William, Debbie Dandridge of King William and Angela Dandridge of King William; his grandchildren, Tenea Hardy (Mike), Sharnica Hill, Chiquita Hill, Carl Dandridge Jr., Jessica Dandridge, Rachelle Dandridge, Anissa Hill, Lynn Smith Jr. and India Dandridge; his great grandchildren, E'Maya Walker, Dashaun Hardy, Mal, Banks, Keshaun Butler and Zarren Dandridge; his siblings, Ella Mae Lewis, Lloyd Dandridge of King William and Gloria Williams of Richmond; and his siblings-in-law, Elwood Hill of Richmond and Vivian Roane of King William. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
