He was predeceased by: his father Wilford S. Hailey; his stepmother Nell C. Hailey; his mother Irene Sineath; his stepfather Frederick Sineath, Sr.; and his sister Vicki Vejnar.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Burns Hailey; his children, Cori L. Hailey and Lewis W. Hailey; and his siblings, Frederick Sineath, Jr., David Sineath and Lisa Atkins (Loren). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
