She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Will Murphy and Nettie White Murphy; her husband Melvin Napier; her children, Joyce, Derrick (Alice) and Douglas; her granddaughter April Glasscock (Chip); her children, Caitlyn, Zachary (Jessica), Kimberly Newcomb (Gary), Logan (Storm), Walker, Heather, Julie Duffey (Randy), Courtney Newman, Carabeth Francis and Cody Green; her grandson Caleb; and her children, Eric Napier (Whitney), Ansley, Mollie, Noah, Jeff Duffey (Melissa), Jefferson, Alex, Joshua Napier (Rachel), Spencer, Eli, Ian and Charlotte.
