He was predeceased by: his mother Margie D. Powell; and his brother-in-law Alan Mason. He is survived by: his daughter Katelyn E. Powell; his father Carlton E. Powell; his sister Cindy Powell Mason; and his nephews, Ryan Mason, Jonathan Mason (Brittney) and Evan Mason. He is also survived by five great-nieces and one great-nephew.
