It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Bernice Stokes Charlton of Keysville, Virginia, born in Lunenburg, Virginia, who passed away on May 25, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Goodrich Henry Stokes, Sr. and Elizabeth Holloway Stokes; her husband Keith Lloyd Charlton, Sr.; and her sisters, Dr. Mary Stokes Frayser and Ernestine Stokes.
