We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2021, at the age of 88, Garnet Childers Shook of Keysville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leroy L. Shook; her siblings, Ethel Taylor, Hugh Childers, Harry Childers, Howard Childers, Stanley Childers and Leonard Childers; and her parents, Lee V. Childers and Clalie Blankenship Childers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Becky Ewing (Bill), Berneta Cohen (Morey) and Celia Arrington (Darryl); her grandchildren, Donnie Hinson, Britney Donivan (Chris), Casey Arrington and Tyler Arrington; her great grandchildren, Aiden Donivan and AllieMae Donivan; and her siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Shook, Joyce Childers and Clyde Shook (MaryLou). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
