With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emily Waddell Nelson (Keysville, Virginia), born in Meherrin, Virginia, who passed away on November 23, 2019 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Louis H. Nelson; and her son Darrel L. Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Emily Waddell Nelson, Joseph L. Nelson of Keysville, VA, Emily D. Dunn (Donnie) of Herndon, VA and Amanda N. Rodriguez (Enrique) of Keysville, VA; her grandchildren, Collin Dunn, Stephanie Nelson Ingram, Mikaela Nelson, Sara Rodriguez, Gabriel Vázquez and Indiya Vázquez; and her great grandchildren, Rayna Emily Holt, Alayna Jolene Holt, Aubrey Ingram and Bryce Ingram.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
