She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Greg; her daughter-in-law Joanne; her granddaughter Delaney Bowman; her brother Larry Perkins; her sister-in-law Joanne; her nephews, Sam, Richard Perkins and Barry Newcomb; her niece Toni Murray; her brother Carroll; her sister-in-law Wilma Bowman; her sister Delores Newcomb; her parents, Lewis Samuel Perkins and Pearly Higdon Perkins; her husband James Gregory Bowman of Hillsville; her friend Joyce Bridges; and her great-nephew Rhett Perkins.
