He was predeceased by: his son Bill; his wife Betty Shelton Williams; and his siblings, Joe, Pete, Bob, Gleese, George, Josie, Jeanette and Alice.

He is survived by: his children, Roger Speck (Deb) of Front Royal, VA, Sandra Sexton of Jonesville, Sherrie Williams of Jonesville and Joe Williams (Angie) of Jonesville; his grandchildren, Kim McPherson (Tracy), Shawn Sexton (Sally), Matthew Williams (Kalena), Courtney Pendergraft (Jeremy), Ketasha Blanton (Robert) and Leah Queen (Zach); his great grandchildren, Jalan Cridlin, Kenzi McPherson, Kaelyn, Braylen, Adalyn Pendergraft, Jackson Porter, Raleigh, Melia Williams, Landon, Karlee, Whitlee Blanton, Genevieve and Rayna Queen; and his sister Flora "Toe" Shelton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent for the upkeep of Millers Chapel Cemetery, or to Millers Chapel United Methodist Church.
