Laura Cox Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Cox (Jonesville, Virginia), who passed away on August 27, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison Childress and Paralee Childress (Sybert); her husband Millard Cox; her sons, Keith, Doug and Kenny Cox; her daughter-in-law Patty Cox; and her grandson Ben Cox.
She is survived by: her son Jimmy Cox of Woodway, VA; her daughters-in-law, Sheryl Cox of Jonesville and Linda Cox of Hiltons, VA; and her sister Inez Bishop of Tennessee. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent in her honor to Lee Health and Rehabilitation Center, 208 Healthcare Dr., Pennington Gap, VA 24277.
