It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Matlock (Jonesville, Virginia), born in Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on August 22, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Leonard Gibson and Pearl L. Gibson. She is survived by: her husband Neal C. Matlock, Jr.; her daughters, Lisa Kay McLaughlin (Rob) and Susie Ford (Howard); her granddaughter Dayna Kay McLaughlin; her great grandchild Hunter Lee Tomlinson; her sister Kathy G. Williams (Paul); her sister-in-law Carlene Potter (Danny); and her nieces, Christy Peters (Chad), Jaime Powell (Donnie) and Kim Webster (Scott). She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and a host of many friends.
