He was predeceased by: his children, Donna Ray, Sherrie and Terry; his parents, George Parsons and Gladys Parsons; his siblings, Wayne Parsons (Brenda) and Wedia Hensley; his son-in-law Randy Harless; and his stepfather Gay Hall (Mabel).
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Parsons; his children, Regina Harless of Kingsport, TN, Kelly L. Parsons (Kim) of Jonesville, VA and Warren Parsons of Elizabethton, TN; his sister Barbara Fortner of Jonesville, VA; and his close friends, Don Glass, Lewis Norton and Don Rogers. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
