He is survived by: his wife Thelma Collins Monette Mehaffy; his children, Greg Monette of Walkertown, NC, Lisa Monette of Jonesville, VA, Elaine Henshaw of Keithsburg, IL, Elizabeth Mehaffy of Hillsdale, MI, Sherry Donovan of Littleton, CO, Eugene "Pete" Mehaffy of Navarre, FL and Kevin Mehaffy of Burlington, IA; and his siblings, John Mehaffy of Burlington, IA and Wilma Liles of Washington, IA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
