He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas William Viar and Mildred Coley Saville. He is survived by: his wife Donna C. Viar; his children, Shane Viar of Ivanhoe Barbara, Chad Davis of Ivanhoe and Ayden Lee Viar; his brothers, Michael Viar of Christiansburg, VA, David Viar of Christiansburg, VA, Randy Viar of Bland, VA and Keith Patterson of Blacksburg, VA; his grandchildren, Shana Viar, Matthew Criner, Chance Davis, Kelsey Davis and Cooper Davis; and his great grandchildren, Emma Hinkston and Nellie Hinkston.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions & regulations, there will be no public visitation at the funeral home. All persons who plan on attending the graveside service are required to wear facial coverings & practice social distancing at all times.
