She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Blankenship and Mary Arwood Street; her sister Jeanette Kennedy; and her half-sister Hester Blankenship. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Yates; her children, Lisa Roberts (Roger) of Charlottesville and Dennis Wayne Yates (Noelle) of Honaker; her granddaughter Breanna Yates; her sister Jean Hibbitts of Grundy; her half-brother Lester Blankenship of West Virginia; and her pet Chloe. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
