He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Thomas Barker and Mary Boyd Barker; and his son Michael Thomas Barker. He is survived by: his wife Betty Barker; his children, John Timothy Barker (Joyce) of Bristol, VA and Lisa Barker Buchanan (James) of Newton, NC; his siblings, Lester Roger Barker (Debbie) of Lebanon, VA, David Barker (Gail) of Bristol, VA and Rebekah Musick (Gary) of Honaker, VA; and his grandchildren, Joey Barker, Brooke Compton of Brittini Graziano, J. T, Tommy Barker, Lauren Buchanan, Kelly Ross and Donnie Ascue. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
