He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmer Lee and Clara Harris Helton (Clarcy); and his brother Jerry Helton. He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Perkins (Doug) of Honaker, Virginia and Randy Helton (Theresa) of Bluefield; his grandsons, Ethan Helton and Gavin Helton; his stepgrandsons, Grant Perkins, Austin Pendelton and Christian Pendelton; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Aubrey Pendelton and Nathaniel Pendelton; and his siblings, Ronald Helton (Anita), Kenny Helton (Janie), Kathleen and Vivian. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
