He is survived by: his wife Mildred Anne Brown Hale; his children, Melissa Barton of Honaker, Virginia and Robbie Hale (Joni) of Honaker, Virginia; his grandchildren, Tiffani Hale, Meghan Barton, Devon Hale, Sophie Hale and Lane Hale; his great grandchildren, Haleigh Hale, Brooklyn Hale, Oliver McFadden, Eli McFadden and Teddy McFadden; his siblings, Sandra Combs (Roger) of Tennessee, Emily Combs of Tennessee, Connie Smith of Tennessee and Stan Hale (Connie) of Lebanon, Virginia; and his close friend Randy Street.
