She is survived by: her children, Diane Blevins, Leslie Freeman, Gregory Freeman, Doug Freeman and Bryan Freeman; and her sister Juanita Marshall. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
