We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2022, at the age of 97, Norman Rush Goad of Hillsville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Richard Lee; his wife Norma Ruth Edmonds Goad; and his siblings, Troy Goad, Berlie Goad, Carlie Goad, Grace Cox, Eula Branscome, Daisy Goad and Mae Ratcliffe Tipton.

He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Meares (Douglas), Crystal Goad and Rita Biggs (Donald); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Stringer-Nunley (Michael), Summer Provancha (John), Candace Meares (James), Matt Biggs and Clint Biggs (Kristyn); and his great grandchildren, Hudson, Luke Provancha and Wyatt Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
