She was predeceased by: her parents, Lisco Nichols and Ruby Spence Nichols; her husband Michael Davis "Mickey" King; her parents-in-law, John R. and Virginia King Tedder; her sister Frances; her brother-in-law Everette Owens; her brother Lawrence Nichols; her siblings-in-law, Samuel Whitaker, Daniel Reynolds, Jr., Eileen Primm and Diane Huthinson; and her nephew Gene Owens.
She is survived by: her daughter Michele Ann King of Hillsville, Virginia; her grandchildren, Robert Michael Dalton, Alesia "Lucy" Dalton of Laurel Fork and Katrina Dawn Dalton (Matthew Mendez-Guzman) of Hillsville; her great grandchildren, James Onesimo Mendez-Guzman, Gregory Pedro Mendez-Guzman, Analeigh Marie Dalton and Aidan Michael Dalton; her siblings, Pearl Whitaker, Bonnie Reynolds and Lisco "Junior"; her sisters-in-law, Linda B. Nichols, Linda H. Nichols and Jonette Dunn (Jerry); and her pets, Roscoe, Carlos, Benji, Skye and Tigger. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
