She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kenny and Ida Faye Edwards Cocke; her husband Joseph Bruce Chappell, Sr.; and her brother Tommy Cocke. She is survived by: her sons, Joseph (Marie Chappell, Jr.) and Kim (Kym Chappell); her brother Paul Cocke; and her grandchildren, Kory, Kayla, Colton, Kaydence Chappell, Kelly, Katie Hawks, Evan, Elissa and Elaina Viars. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
