He was predeceased by: his father Kenny H. Sharpe; his adoptive parents, Ethel Young and Everette Young; and his wife Frances Irene Willard Sharpe. He is survived by: his son Stuart Sharpe of Wytheville; his siblings, Robert Dale Sharpe (Ann) of Max Meadows and Carol D. White (Thomas) of Ocala, FL; and his close friend Ruth Alderman.
