He was predeceased by: his father Clive V. Hurst; and his brother-in-law Charles G. Smythers. He is survived by: his wife Susan Hurst (Sue); his siblings, Shelby Hurst Smythers and Lewis Clive Hurst; his sister-in-law Linda; and his pets, Scooby, Reed, Penny and Sammy.
