She was predeceased by: her father Ferd Hill; her husband Waltrude Slusher; her daughter Donna Akers; her brother Bobby; and her sister-in-law Faye Hill.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Slusher of Independence, Martha James (Brad) of Galax and David Slusher (Alva) of Riner; her brother Larry Hill (Donna); her son-in-law Jay Akers; and her nephew Jeffery Hill. She is also survived by four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
