It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Delp Showalter of Hillsville, Virginia, who passed away on January 15, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Granville Delp; her husband Robert Henry Showalter, Sr.; and her brother Gerald Delp. She is survived by: her children, Karen Thompson (Tony), Kathy Dalton (Erby), Robert Henry Showalter, Jr., Matthew Alan Showalter (Eileen), Timothy Mark Showalter and Christina Horton (Brian); and her sisters, Emily Dobbins and Madeline Goodson. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
