He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry M. Brunk and Nora Kraus Brunk; his son Merle Edward Brunk; his siblings, Esther (Norman Loux), Ellen Griffen, Ruth (Ray Horst), Alma (Leonard Baer), Nelson (Ruth Brunk), Perry (Fern Brunk) and Joe Brunk; and his brother-in-law Lewis (Betty Ebersole).
He is survived by: his wife Edna Marie Ebersole; his children, Patricia Brunk VanderMissen (Steven), Joan Brunk Baughman (Tracy), Paula Brunk Kuhns (Bruce) and Jeffrey Brunk (Eileen); his daughter-in-law Patty Brunk McNamar (Jerry); his grandsons, Matthew Brunk McNamar (Debra), Kenneth McNamar, Marcos Wright-Kuhns (Beth), Stefan Baughman, Bryce Baughman (Hilary) and Anthony VanderMissen; his great grandchildren, Gabe and Jamie Wright-Kuhns; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Louise Brunk, Esther Ebersole Lepley (Jim) and Elmer Ebersole (Jan). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
