She was predeceased by: her parents, Murl Bocock Drury and J. Thomas Bocock; her husband John William "Bill" Humes, Sr.; and her siblings, Isabelle Thompson, Nancy Werner, Jack and John Bocock.
She is survived by: her son John William "John Bill" Humes, Jr. (Jan) of Bridgewater; her grandson John Robert Humes (Jenny) of Bridgewater; her great grandchildren, Jamie and Billy Humes; her siblings, Maxine Wright of Harrisonburg and Calvin Bocock of Ohio; and her stepbrother William Drury of Winchester.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Harrisonburg Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 1477, Harrisonburg, VA 22803, of which her husband was a charter member.
