She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Braxton and Vivian L. Braxton; and her siblings, Yvonne-Braxton-Howard (Floyd), LaSanya Braxton, Vincent and Derek Braxton.
She is survived by: her nephew Dorale Braxton; her niece Janelle Braxton; her aunt Thelma Braxton Holloman (Bill); her siblings, Lisa, Belinda Braxton and Ronnell Braxton; her stepmother Barbara Braxton; and her close friend Curtis. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.
After graduating, Ramona went on to live at the Sara Bonwell Hudgens Foundation in Hampton, VA.
