She was predeceased by: her parents, John M. Bowman and Leola Chamberlain Bowman; her grandmother Rebecca Bowman; her husband Alfonso A. Tyler Sr.; her son Alfonso A. Tyler Jr.; her brother John M. Bowman Jr.; her granddaughter Ashley N. Tyler; and her daughter-in-law Mary Lois Tyler.
She is survived by: her aunt Sis; her children, Joyce Tyler-Lee (Napoleon), Reginald Tyler and Michael Tyler (Angela); and her cousins, Doris Inman, Leola Williams and Sylvia Wright. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
