She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Melton and Hazel Pauline Shifflett (Via); and her sister Patricia Shifflett Rankin. She is survived by: her children, Wayne Gibson (Connie) of Grottoes, Kim Vickers (Greg) of Grottoes and Tammy Jenkins (Mike) of Penn Laird; her sisters, Stella Caplinger of Grottoes, Brenda Raynes (Robby) of Port Republic, Mary Jane Maupin (Ron) of Grottoes and Gloria Frazier (Ronnie) of Weyers Cave; her brother-in-law Gary Rankin; her grandchildren, Taylor, Cole Gibson, Derek (Jasmina Vickers), Amber Vickers, Jessica Jenkins and McKenzie Jenkins; and her great grandchild Rylan Castenada. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
