He was predeceased by: his parents, John Andrew and Emma Ruth Sponaugle (Heavener); and his sister-in-law Karen Wonderley Willis. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Louise Sponaugle (Wonderley); his daughters, Sarah Ward (Jeff) and Laura Begoon (J. T.) of Grottoes; his grandchildren, Eli, Ian Ward, Jack, Kinley, Brooke and Blake Begoon; his siblings, Anna Gail Hartbarger (Dexter) of Nokesville, Jim Sponaugle (Caroline) and Harry Sponaugle (Sharon) of Doe Hill; his father-in-law Franklin Wonderley (Jo) of Grottoes; and his brother-in-law Bob Willis of Richmond. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
