He is survived by: his wife Ellen Marie Knight; his children, James Knight, Jr. (Shenna) of Elkton, Earl Knight (Teresa) of Elkton, Stacy Knighten (Sara) of Harrisonburg, Ellen Strawderman (Kirby) of Middlebrook and Tyffanie Knight (Michael Phillips) of Crimora; his brothers, Lawrence Knight of Elkton, Nelson "Buddy" Knight of Lacey Spring, Richard Knight of Elkton, Larry Knight of Grottoes, Ray Knight of Crimora and Jerry Knight of Linville; and his grandchildren, Crystal Knight of Verona, Lisa Knight of Elkton, Molly Lam of Elkton, Katonna, Robbie Pike of Elkton, Katie, Larkin Knighten of Harrisonburg, Lexis, Dillin Strawderman of Middlebrook and Serenity Knight of Crimora. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
