She was predeceased by: her brother James R. Chafin; her daughter Eva Hughes; and her stepdaughter Michelle Smith. She is survived by: her granddaughter Harley Smith; her husband George W. Smith; her son Robbie Hughes; her stepchildren, Christina Phillips and Wayne Jr. Smith; her siblings, Janice Houweling, Hershel Chafin and David Chafin; and her grandchildren, Jamie Hughes, Destiney Baker, William Phillips and George Walter Phillips.
