He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliph Wheeler and Lola Wheeler; and his stepfather William O. Meador. He is survived by: his sons, Henry Edward Wheeler Jr. and Jeffrey T. Wheeler (Heather); his grandchildren, Wade Wheeler, Kaitlyn and Corey Wheeler; his siblings, Clovis Wheeler (Janie), Arnold Lee, Dale Wheeler (Joyce) and Vonice Wheeler Bratton; and his close friend Marshall Jenkins. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
